Osteopathy is a manual therapy that cover a wide type of technics. All of these are provided to reach a good balance between every part of the body, according to a good circulation, mobility, positioning, and allowing the body to compensate correctly.
Osteopathy is therefore a functional approach, that allows us to work on every single condition with different kind of goals. These can be defined to recover range of motion, to limit pain, to increase comfort, to improve your perception or to cope with daily activities in a better way…
One originality of osteopathy, is that we consider as well the visceral system, in its ability to influence the musculoskeletal system, and in the other way to respond to musculoskeletal disorder. Most of the links we based our thought on, are neurological and mechanical, and the tool is the same : manual therapy.
